Story

Hi Everyone,

My Name is Ben Jelf and I am 11 years old and a powerboat racer.

From the 31st October - 4th November I will be attending the RYA Speed Record week, where all types of boats will try and attempt to break current National & World Speed Records on the water.

This year I have already become the World and European Champion in the GT15 Powerboat Class, as well as the British JT250 National & Sprint Champion.

My next challenge is to try and break the current National & World Speed record for the GT15 Class which are currently held by : (1) National - Ben Morse UK 33.38mph (2) World - Sebastian Rothman SWE 40.92 mph.

I would like everyone who possibly can,  to sponsor me in my attempt to try and break the current records and help do some good by the Everyman Male Cancer campaign benefitting from your donations.

Both of my Grandfathers have Prostate Cancer and are looked after and receive first class treatment from the Doctors. Charities like the Everyman campaign help make this treatment possible by funding research and raising awareness of male cancer.

Please can you help me to reach my target and join the fight against Male Cancer !

Every little bit counts !

Thank you for taking the time to read this information – please donate what you can.

RCN exempt charity status
Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.
