So the training is well under way for the Marathon, feeling good so far, longest run has been 15 miles which will soon change with 18 and 22 on the horizon in the next 2 weeks ! thanks for all of your support so far!

I am taking on the biggest challenge of my life by running 39.3 miles in both the Great North Run and the London Marathon.

 

Having worked with children and teenagers i know first hand what a huge difference it can make to have positive role models and continued support during sometimes very hard and formative years.  I have chosen to run for the Children's Society because i know that they are committed to making small changes in children's and young people's lives that go on to make huge positive rewards, not only in those they help first hand but also subsequent generations. 

Money can seen to be an easy way of fixing a hard situation, but the money raised pays for people, and i am sure you will know having the right person in the right place at the right time can make an amazing difference. 

 

So thank you for your support, if it is encouragement for me in my pursuit for these goals, if it is in prayer for the work of the Children's society or in the giving of money... thank you. You have already made a difference in me!
