Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page...
After years of pestering by colleagues at work, I have finally agreed to take part in Strictly Barclaycard this time around (who says peer pressure doesn’t work?!?). Many of you will probably know that I have a little bit of rhythm from appearances in clubs apparently as a STEPS backing dancer, so surely this can’t be that hard?
Well on 3rd March 2016 I’m swapping my Pride heels for a pair of dancing shoes & am now well on the way to learning to fling myself around the dance floor in some form of choreographed technical wonder that will apparently resemble ballroom dancing, rather than my rum-fuelled throwing-shapes that I usually turn out to a Britney number. I’m doing this for a fantastic cause – KidsAid (www.kidsaid.org.uk) and would greatly appreciate any donation you can afford, no matter how big or small. If you are feeling generous please dig deep. Anything you donate will also be matched by my employer, so you can feel doubly-good about any donation you make!
The event itself is taking place on the evening of Thursday 3

March 2016 in Northampton and if you want to come along and see me sashay across the stage & serve up some ‘proper’ dancing-realness, you can get tickets at
– surely it’ll be worth it just to see me in even more sequins & glitter than normal, and I’m planning on going for the full ‘Donatella Versace’ for my compulsory spray tan!
