Story
An accident in the summer of 2017 left me with permanent facial scarring, and since then I've started to learn what it's like to have what you might call an unconventional face.
This has spurred me and my partner, Wes, on to try and raise one thousand pounds for Changing Faces this year.
Changing Faces is the leading UK charity that represents people with visible differences. They provide personal support to individuals and families, work with schools, employers and health care professionals to ensure a culture of inclusion for people with a mark, scar or condition that makes them look different, and campaign for social change. They help people who have a disfigurement find a way to live the lives they want.
We've set ourselves a series of challenges, which we'll reveal throughout the year - but we're excited to reveal that I'll be running 10k every day in June this year.
Please give what you can - and watch this space for more of what we have in store.
