I'm running for all of the children and families supported by CHUF during their hospital stay. Many children spend months on PICU or Ward 23 and money raised by CHUF goes towards making their time in hospital slightly more comfortable by providing books, games, TVs and DVDs etc.

As part of my Queen's Guide Award I have taken up running, with the GNR as my ultimate goal. Training has been varied, with highs and lows (and too much self doubt). I smashed my target at a 10k race in July (1hr, 17 secs) and can't wait to line up on central motorway for the race to South Shields.
