On the 11th of October Bill went into hospital to have a stent fitted due to a blocked bile duct. A few days later I was told he had developed acute pancreatitis and he needed an emergency operation. After the operation he was taken into intensive care, where I thought he would recover, only to be informed soon after that the hospital had no option but to withdraw his life support, as he was now in end stage organ failure.

I never imagined 12 days from being admitted to hospital all our hopes and plans for the future would be gone. My beautiful strong man would lose his fight.  If there had been more research into this disease I may not of lost him at all!!

Please help me raise money for this worthy cause, in the hope that other families could be spared the heartache that we are feeling.

Bill died surrounded by people who loved him which was his wish, he will leave a huge hole in so many lives but we are determined to make a difference.
