I’ve been nominated  to join the CEO sleep out in Support of Josh Littlesjohn’s Social Bite build a village for homeless people vision.

We are fast approaching the crazy Christmas period where we’ll all no doubt over indulge and hopefully have some fun with family and friends.

But this is a particularly hard time for homeless people; the British weather alone is bad enough in December but with little or no family to enjoy this period with, it can be very lonely.

Josh Littlejohn the founder of Social Bites, the social enterprise which brought Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney and Bill Clinton to Edinburgh has organised a CEO and business owner sleep out along with Chris Hoy.

We’ll be outside braving the Scottish weather from 7pm to 7am this Thursday to raise money for:

1. Christmas dinners for homeless people in Edinburgh, Glasgow and      Aberdeen
2.    Free meals for homeless people for the other 364 days
3.    Training and employment support for homeless people
4.    Building The Social Bite Village – putting roofs over people’s heads and helping them get back on their feet

I appreciate this is an expensive time of year for everyone but if you have anything you can spare it will go to a great cause.

As this is a cause we’d really like to help we have decided to donate a laptop to Social Bites for every £200s we raise
