Cancer, a disease that doesn't just make you ill and potentially kill you, but strips away your soul and the very essence of who you are. It doesn't care whether you are young or old, male or female, it WILL eat away at you and leave you just a shell of your former self. Having lost too many members of my family to this hideous disease, I've decided to go to war on cancer.

On September the 16/17th I will be attempting to ride my bike for 24 hours around the iconic racing circuit of Brands Hatch. Why 24hrs? Well because I know that it is going to be hard, in fact it's actually quite a ridiculous thing to do!!! I'm going to put myself through some of the worst pain and discomfort that I have ever been in. It's going to affect me both physically and phsycologically and with out doubt be the toughest thing that I have ever had to go through...

BUT, that is nothing compared to what someone going through cancer lives with every day! So yes, I will put myself through this crazy event and I hope that you join me in this war on cancer and give generously.
