Hello! We're Barbara, Lauren and Sirpa and we're self-confessed addicts to ((Bounce)) -  a ridiculously fun, fierce and hard exercise class/club night/laugh fest on trampolines we all take part in weekly, or maybe twice a week, or three times at a push. The before and after photographs above speak for themselves... One ((Bounce)) class is an hour long and is considered a full H.I.I.T. workout, with about 45-50 minutes of cardio (with a water/loo break every 15 minutes or so) and about 10-15 minutes of 'toning' (sit-up's, bum stuff etc). This pushes you to fatigue while having an absolute laugh! According to fitness trackers, we burn around 500 calories in that hour - to give you a comparison, you'd be running, on average, 5 miles/8km to burn the same amount (according to Google). So what we're saying is that it's not easy, but the motto of 'fun - friendly - fierce' certainly rings 100% true. 

Since our addictions to ((Bounce)) seem to reaching ever-increasing heights, we've decided to take it a step further and challenge ourselves to a class 7 days in a row -starting on the 30th of June and finishing on the 6th July, and most likely taking a bit of a lie-down on the 7th. 

Since making this decision, we also wanted to try and do something good. To spur us on we've decided on raising money for the wonderful place that is The Retreat Animal Rescue Farm Sanctuary and Cafe (https://www.retreatanimalrescue.org.uk/). They are a non-profit organisation and all funds raised go to the welfare of the animals, which include everything from cows and pigs to dogs, cats and rabbits. We visited them on the 22nd of June, spending the day mooching around with all the animals having a beautiful time in the gorgeous surroundings.

NOTE: In case there is any confusion about who Doris is, she is a gorgeous dog character created by artist Sam Toft. We are blown away by Sam's big heart and kindness as she has donated a signed original drawing of Doris the dog as a prize to a lucky winner who donates £5 to The Retreat/our Bounce mission and quotes 'Dear Doris' <3.
