In Support of Bri-Stor Group's Charity of the Year, Help for Heroes, our Group Director Martin Smith is undertaking a cycle ride across France's Loire Valley.

Having not cycled since he punctured the tyre on his Raleigh Grifter in 1982, Martin has not found a painless transition back into the bicycle fraternity. However, having invested in a variety of Lycra based leisurewear, numerous ointments and an inexpensive bike, he is now ready to take up the challenge.

The trip covers a total of 400 miles through the punishing landscapes of Central France, starting to the East of Chalon and finishing to the West of Tours.
