The Catholic Church supports a number of charities locally and globally, which have suffered as a result of COVID19. Sacred Heart Parish Darwen is supporting East Lancs Hospice with Fr Brian‘s sponsored marathon walk to Burnley & back - 26 miles in total! Fr Brian is walking from Darwen to Burnley & back again,  for East Lancs Hospice  He will walk solo but Parishioners are invited to ‘walk’ with him in other ways and send in photos of their efforts e.g. 26 miles, 26km, 2.6 miles, 2.6km, 2.6 hours, 26 streets, 26 laps of the garden, 2.6 minutes reading the route etc.
