The British Thyroid Foundation is a charity dedicated to supporting people with thyroid disorders and helping their families and people around them to understand the condition. 

1 in 5 people suffer from some form of thyroid disease. I went undiagnosed for quite a few years and I think there are a lot of people out there who do not realise they have it. It is a difficult time to go through for both - the person with thyroid disorder and their families. 

Therefore, I decided to help raise awareness and some money for the British Thyroid Foundation by running 10k.
