Story

The Bristol Branch of the Grenadier Guards Association is proud to support the fantastic work done by The Victoria Cross Trust. Over the next 12 Months we aim to raise as much money as possible for them with Branch members undertaking several events. The first of these will be the Bristol 10k run on May 11th which will be run by our Branch Member, Chris Mellor, please support Chris by donating as much as possible and help the VC Trust to continue with its tremendous work in restoring the Graves of Victoria Cross holders in the UK. About the charity

The Victoria Cross Trust cleans and maintains the graves of the recipients of the highest award for Valour - The VC - that are not looked after by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. We also ensure that their memories are maintained through educating the public in a variety of different media. Through our network of veterans, to whom we provide support and activities to keep them active and fulfilled, and a network of volunteers we ensure that the 'graves of the brave' are not forgotten. Our charity is small but with a big name and we ensure that our donations are focused directly on our charitable aims and respecting the highest award for Valour - The Victoria Cross.
