We EDUCATE and EMPOWER communities to better CARE for their working animals

Story

58,229 animals working in the brick kilns of India need your support.

Horses, donkeys and mules working in Indian brick kilns face temperatures as high as 50°C as they transport bricks every day. Overloading regularly leads to chronic strains, wounds and even diseases.

With your help, we can make a real difference to their lives.

By donating today, you could help to improve the skills and behaviours of equine owners through training sessions and the formation of equine welfare groups. You can help to make well-trained paravets and farriers more accessible and affordable. And you could improve infrastructure within brick kilns to ensure animal welfare guidelines are implemented.

With your support, Brooke has already made major changes in the brick kilns of India. By supporting Project Bricks, you’ll be ensuring we can make even more difference to working animals and support 58,229 horses, donkeys and mules, as well as 39,938 owners.

This project can only achieve its aims with your support. And by 7th June 2018 we need to be sure we have the funds in place for this project.

Today, you can help us get closer to our £46,679 target for Project Bricks.

Please donate to help give working animals the care and support they deserve. Together, we can be unstoppable.

If Project Bricks reaches its funding total or you give after 31st December 2018, your donation will be spent wherever the need is greatest.
