Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

This year it's the 60th anniversary of the Edale Mountain Rescue Team so I've committed to doing their Nine Edges Endurance challenge - a 20 mile event.

I am doing this in tribute to my great-uncle Frederick (Bill) Heardman who founded the team back in 1956.  It is also 100 years ago this year that Bill went over the top on the 1st day of the battle of the Somme.  So all in all it seamed fitting to do something in tribute to him.

So if you could make a donation it would be very gratefully received!
