As you all may know my daughter suffers from a genetic condition called Cystic Fibrosis. I'll avoid the science but this causes a thick sticky mucus to develop in her organs which in turn causes increased infection and damage to those organs. At present only 50% of those affected will live past 28. This however is changing, medical advances have increased life expectancy and more importantly quality of life.

Anybody who knows Harriet will know what a happy little girl she is and we intend to keep it that way. 

This year 3 of us will again do the great north run to raise vital funds for research, I know a lot of people will know us all so this is the easiest way to avoid pestering the same people. So I ask you, Emily and David ask you to please keep this little girl and thousands like her breathing, even if it's only a pound it all helps.
