Philippa sadly passed away peacefully on Thursday 24th November after fighting an amazing battle with cancer.

She spent the last two and a half weeks of her life in East Lancashire Hospice, Blackburn where she received no end of visitors and was looked after superbly. From the moment she arrived she felt safe and cared for and there is no doubt that she gained a tremendous boost from this in those last couple of weeks. It really is an amazing place, run by dedicated and caring staff for whom nothing was ever too much trouble and to whom we will be eternally grateful.

The fact that they can provide such amazing palliative care is only made possible through charitable donations and fund-raising. It was Philippa's wish that we support the hospice in this way and we very much hope that you will be willing to make a donation in lieu of funeral flowers in her memory.
