Back to the London Marathon after 7 years. Older, hopefully a little faster, but probably no wiser.

It's still a very long way, very hard work and one of the toughest physical challenges around.

Having  marshalled at the finish line last year, my aim is not to face the indignity of being stretchered away by my club mates as I finish!

Combat Stress is the leading Veterans' mental health charity in the UK providing treatment for ex-Service personnel suffering with mental ill-health including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression.

These are the invisible long-lasting wounds of war and we owe it to our servicemen and women to support and help them
