We support people with dementia in Scotland to make sure nobody faces dementia alone

Story

It sounded simple in the pub - to cycle across Scotland's widest point over a few days in July, stopping along the way to play some golf and climb a hill. The objective, as well as setting a target to get fitter, was also to raise some money for a cause that affects both our families and almost 100,000 others in Scotland alone. https://www.alzscot.org/

It's "only" 240 miles but that's a long way for us, so please dig deep, as that's what we'll be doing, especially on the uphill bits!

The route is Ardnamurchan - Boat of Garten - Cruden Bay, via Spean Bridge and Peterhead (the actual easternmost point). We'll play some golf half way at Boat Of Garten and again at Cruden Bay at the end. We'll also climb Ben Rinnes, the highest mountain in Speyside.

Neither of us do this sort of thing usually. This is a one-off because we've both just turned 50 and it needed done, so please support us for a really worthwhile cause.

Many many thanks
