Big ride to Barton Marina yesterday. 70 miles in total with Neil Poultney in wet and windy conditions. Neil had a blow out on the way but a nice lunch in the Marina made up fir it!!!!!

Together with three friends, myself, Steve Prince, Chris Buxton and Bill Jackson we will be cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats on the 20th September 2012. We are hoping it will take 11 days over a distance of around 909 miles. We are raising money for the Newborn baby appeal at Liverpool hospital. Steve has a close friend who had a child at the hospital and the needs of the unit were much needed. It is our intention to raise as much money as possible for a very worthwhile charity which is close to our hearts.
