Late last year our family was struck by tragedy, we lost the wonderful Mary Clements to cancer. Mary was a much loved Mother, Daughter, Sister, Wife, Aunty and dear friend who will be missed by all who had the fortune to know her.

Towards the end of her illness Mary was looked after by the tremendous Princess Alice Hospice (PAH). PAH care for people with cancer and other illnesses living in a large part of Surrey, south west London and Middlesex. It is a local charity dedicated to providing free, high-quality compassionate care and support for patients, their families and carers.

The work that The Princess Alice does is invaluable to families and thus we have decided that on Saturday 12th July, Mark, David, Chris, Matt, Jeremy, Sarah, Kevin, Gracie, Ed and Catey will complete a fundraising climb of Mount Snowdon in Wales.

 Mount Snowdon is 3,560ft tall and is the second highest peak in the British Isles; the highest in Wales.  It is often cold, foggy and steep on the ascent and despite these conditions  we will aim to complete this tough climb within 6 hours up and down. To make things a little more interesting, and because Mary liked nothing more than a good old giggle and nothing would make her laugh more than the 10 of us looking a bit silly, we will be completing this 6 hour mountain climb dressed as SUPERHEROES!!!!!!

The Hospice is a cause that we, her children and nephews and nieces hold dear to our hearts. What better way to honour the memory of Mary's life than to give back to the people who helped her when she needed it the most?!
