Dearest Friends and Family

So we finally got around to organising our big/little 'no fuss' special day with all our favourite people.  As you know we have requested    'no gifts'. This was partly because we didn't want to give any of you the headache of deciding what on earth to buy us, but mostly because we would far rather use this opportunity to offer a little something back to one of our favourite charities.......

                              The Gorilla Organisation

Saving gorillas is of course incredibly apt as we're about to go to Uganda on the trip of a lifetime to see them for ourselves (hopefully). 

The Gorilla Organisation is a fabulous charity because they do that whole community thing. They have loads of great projects going on that aim to get humans and gorillas living peacefully side by side. As well as educational and agricultural projects they have this awesome programme aimed around empowering women and girls (I personally love this idea). 

One day I/we would very much like to be more actively involved with this charity but for now any contributions , however small will go a long way to helping something we feel passionately about.
