We support people across Nottinghamshire to improve life after brain injury

Story

I work for Headway Nottingham as a Support Worker.

I am raising money for Headway Nottingham, a small local charity who provide long term health and social rehabilitation, help and advice, respite, guidance & support to individual’s, carer’s and families who have been affected by brain injury across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

I am a keen mountain biker and trail runner and love taking part in extreme mud events such as obstacle course racing and off road running events.

I hope to raise money from each event I take part in, and raise awareness about brain injury and what we do here at Headway Nottingham.

In 2018 I completed HellRunner Hell Up North half marathon, it was brutal but I loved it and I raised £148.00

In 2019 I have the following events planned...

11.5.19  Rat Race Dirty Weekend Full Mucker - 200 obstacles over 20 miles!

31.8.19  TrekFest Peaks 50km trek across the Peak District

12.10.19  HellRunner Hell Up North half marathon 13 miles and approx 4000 ft ascent - yep I’m going back for seconds!
