In 2017 I joined an early morning boot camp to help get through those bleak winter months. There were a couple of the group that were getting into running- “not for me” I thought. I used to find somewhere to hide during school cross country so I could avoid doing 3 laps. I’m happy to work out but running? No thanks. 

I get peer pressured easily! Before I knew it I was registered for parkrun, then a 10k, then a 7miler. Then A HALF MARATHON! 

UNBELIEVABLE!

Then my employer became the main sponsor of the Bathalf and we’d get an excellent opportunity to come together and raise money for good causes. I registered. 

So for a non runner, I was now registered for 2 half marathons! But they say good things (or bad) come in 3s, so I registered for another.

Our office charity is St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth. They are an incredible and amazing care facility and you only need to speak to any of them about the care that they offer to realise what an amazing job they do, and how passionate they are about their work. I’ve not had any immediate family who have had cause to use them for palliative care, but I know friends who have. 

Please help me to reach my target by following the instructions below.
