Story
Hello friends, family, loved ones and general well-wishers.
If you're reading this, then you might want to know that I'm going to be running the Great Bristol Half-Marathon on Sunday 17th September.
To that end, I have a request to ask of you. I'm going to be running for - and raising money for - Mind. They're a mental health charity who do some great work. In the past few years alone they've helped to pass several pieces of pro-mental health legislation, provided helplines which offer vital support and information for those suffering from mental illness, and set up local support networks all over the country for those in need. I've had a mental wobble or two in my time, so I'd love to be able to give something back to an organisation which has done so much to help me and millions of others like me.
If you could find it in your hearts/wallets to help me in raising a bit of money for Mind, it would be greatly appreciated. I know a lot of you are poor students, so obviously there's no need to break the bank. Anything at all would be greatly appreciated. And hey, maybe if you can't afford to give me any money, just send me a facebook message telling me what a great guy I am for undertaking this noble and selfless endeavour.
Or just give me a fiver. Either way.
