Story

Thank you for looking at our funding page, and for your support.

Following the inaugural adventure in June 2018, for the Welsh Three Peaks, the CHIPS* group have moved geography for the 2019 follow up… The Yorkshire Three Peaks.

The challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in a targeted 12 hours (compared to the record sub-3 hours running record!). These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The circular route covers 24 miles, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.

Wiltshire Mind is a local independent mental health charity, based in Melksham, providing county-wide services. It is a voluntary organisation affiliated to the national charity, 'Mind', working towards a better life for people diagnosed (or not), labelled or treated as mentally ill.
