I am running in my first ever 5K for the Royal Blind because I have seen my Dad suddenly become partially sighted overnight.  This has changed his life and my families life as he and we have had to adapt to a new way of living.  

It has made me realise that there are a number of illnesses that can take peoples sight away and I want to help the Royal Blind help them.

My Dad, for example, now needs help to go anywhere whereas before the illness, he was able to take me places.  I feel sorry for him and see how much he hates it.

By donating to my page, you are helping Royal Blind help people like him, and others affected by a loss of sight, helping them have a better future.
