Michael and I are both running the Robin Hood marathon and we really want to help out with what's going on in the Horn of Africa at the moment. International response has been rather poor and people are dying all the time. I've given quite a bit myself so I'm not immune just because I'm running the marathon.

As you may or may not know, I have actually trained for the Robin Hood marathon twice now, last year I did all the training and then couldn't run because I had a headache for 6 months, it was the worst thing that's ever happened to me. So hopefully that's enough hardship to qualify for a decent level of sponsorship for this one.

It's Michael's first marathon so he's going to have all the fun of hitting the wall for the first time, aaah, takes me back.
