Nottingham Hospitals Charity wants to raise £3 million by 2019 to provide vital support to the Children’s Hospital, helping to transform care and research new treatments for over 60,000 children and young people each year.

We know that having a child in hospital is one of the most stressful things a family can face. “The Big Appeal” is raising funds for state-of-the-art equipment to diagnose children’s illnesses earlier and more accurately, as well as providing families with a comfortable ‘home from home’ so they can stay close-by while their child is receiving care.

Throughout June 2017 I will, along with students, on an Access to Nursing course be doing a series of walks as fund raising activities.
