The Plan...

This year Cirdan has 2 teams running in the Belfast Marathon Relay as well as Sean Latimer running the full marathon- fair play! The big day takes place on Sunday 5th May 2019, so not long now until we get the running shoes on and are running/walking/crawling to the finish line...Throughout the run up to the marathon and after it, we hope to raise as much funds as possible for Cirdan's nominated charity this year- the fantastic Welcome Organisation Belfast. 

A Little about Welcome Organisation...

Opening Eyes on Homelessness

The Welcome Organisation provides a range of potentially life-saving services to around 1,400 people affected by homelessness across greater Belfast every year. All of their services are based on the principles of harm reduction delivered through low-threshold services.  The organisation is recognised for accepting people ‘where they are at’ as opposed to where others think they should be. The team work tirelessly in offering a range of services including a Drop-in Centre, Street Outreach service, Crisis Accommodation for Women, Floating Support service and Welcome Home projects. We would really like to support this charity in whatever small way we can and would therefore appreciate if you could donate as little or as much as you can...we are truly inspired by the amazing work Welcome Organisation does on a daily basis to try and tackle homelessness in Belfast.
