On our way home now and phoebes plagiocephaly is classed as severe X she also needs to see a cranial osteopath because of the shift in weight on her head the muscles have got tight on the one side of her neck so she needs physio to loosen them up again and stop her leaning her head to one side X we have to pay the deposit tomorrow and her helmet will be fitted in 2 weeks. I'm setting up the just giving page now and if anyone is in a position to help us fundraise or donate any kind of money to the charity headstart4babies that would help us massively and would also help the charity to help other families like ours who struggle to get the funding. This treatment is not available on the nhs as its deemed cosmetic yet if this is not treated, as the child grows they will have problems wearing glasses, cycling helmets, there jaws will be out of line causing issues with teeth and eating and even smiling.
