Story
Eleven Clouderans will be completing the Three Peaks Challenge in the UK in June 2017 to raise awareness and funds for Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital. The Three Peaks Challenge involves summiting Ben Nevis, Snowdon and Scafell Pike in just 24 hours.
At Strata Data Conference London (22-25 May), we'll be hosting a virtual challenge, asking attendees to summit the three peaks via steppers over the duration of the conference. The on-site challenge will have a bevy of milestones tied to donation amounts. If the attendees "summit" all three peaks, Cloudera Cares will donate a total of £5,000 to Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital Charity.
Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital Charity raises funds to:
- Modernise and Redevelop GOSH by replacing and expanding outdated clinical facilities and accommodation, enabling the hospital to treat more children in modern environments.
- Fund Child, Family, and Staff Support Projects to help improve the experience of patients and their families, enable clinical innovation and provide important support for the hospital’s dedicated staff.
- Provide Funding for Vital Research to pioneer new and kinder treatments for rare and complex conditions.
- Invest in New Equipment to ensure that the hospital can harness the latest technologies.
Join us in raising awareness and funds for a great charity!
