F2A is a cycle challenge from Barnsley FC to Ajax of Amsterdam via the Hull City  stadium.  The Ride takes in some 145 miles over 2 days starting 1st June 2018.

I first heard of this event through my good friend Neil, he completed the challenge in 2017 and suggested that I enter it this year.  Having turned 55 and not ridden a Bike since 2011 to say that I was nervous about taking this on is an understatement.  However, I know of several people (family and friends) who have been diagnosed with and touched by this disease and felt the need to do a little toward raising awareness of this terrible disease that affects 1 in 8 men.

My target is £1175, just £25 will pay for Specialist Nurses for 1 hour, £100 allows 6 blood samples to be analysed, £500 allows research publication and £1000 will pay for a weeks worth of research.  So anything you can donate no matter how small will help.

Obviously, this is football themed, and as you make a donation please enter the team that you support.   I am a lifelong "Gooner" however, I am pledging that I will wear the shirt of the team that raises the most donations on my page for one of the days.  That said, it does not need to be a football team.
