Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My sister Karen Cooper was in herself a legend in Wellingborough. "Karoke Karen"  All Karen wanted to do was to sing and dance and make people smile.

Along the way she was admired loved but also ridiculed and verbally abused. At times it not only affected Karen but us as a family. I hope that by creating this page I am able to raise awareness into mental health problems within young people and the many issues that it raises. I would just like to make people aware of how reactions to people with mental health problems affect them and their families. I am proud to call Karen Cooper my sister and thank the kind people of Wellingborough for their support over the years. A small donation to her page could make a difference to help other people in their own battle with mental illness.
