I hate running. Those that know me well will vouch for this, it is probably my least favourite thing to do. However, when my dad passed away in December, I made a pledge to myself that I would challenge myself and do things which would benefit my mental and physical health. I also did it in defiance to his and my siblings constant teasing of being fat, hence the reference to Verno, from Stand by Me. 

MAP offer so much to the young people of Norfolk and I have also received their support as a member of staff. A service like theirs could have benefited my Dad so much as a young person and I too would have benefited from it as a teenager in Norwich, living alone not knowing what rights I had or support I could have received.
