I have been involved with Andover and District Mencap as a volunteer over the past year and have seen at first hand the great work they do for children and young adults with learning disabilities in and around Andover.

In particular they run a number of clubs during the holidays, after school and at weekends. These clubs include a range of activities including games, arts and crafts, sports, computers and various outings.  

These clubs are always well attended but rely on grants and donations to keep running.

Together with my son Philip we are aiming to walk 25km of the Test Way walk to raise money to help towards the running costs of the clubs over the next 12 months.
