After seeing my grandmothers battle with dementia it not only highlighting what an awful effect it had directly on her, but also the people around her. The physical, emotional, and financial strain that it can have on families makes it all the worse so I'll be running the LA marathon and raising money for Dementia UK who help support people effected by dementia!
