Jump For My Love!

The Pointer Sisters got it right and that is what i am doing on the 27th of September in Maidestone in Kent as 1 of 25 skydivers that will 'Jump for Equality' across the country. 

Growing up gay in a village outside Wolverhampton i had so many dreams and so many fears. Love, respect, acceptance, fear, living out loud and not in the shadows all played their roles in my adolescent head as a teenager.

Through my life advancement towards full legal equality has been steadilly progressing and this is in no small part thanks to the work of groups like Stonewall. In the UK there are still too many attacks on people of all ages, races and creeds because of their sexuality. The work of Stonewall is helping to change this both with their political lobbying and in their community work across all areas of society.

In my time i have been beaten up, attacked, spat at, had abuse hurled at me in the street all because i dared to live and to stand up for my heart. The teenage Dean who is leaving school now in 2014 has a much better chance at living his life with less hate and with far more legal protection. Please help me help him by donating not to me, but to his life, our shared future.
