Why mountain rescue, they really are volunteers giving their own time to help us when we decide to do something stupid, these guys risk their lives and time away from their families to help those in need.

I have needed mountain rescue 3 times in my 3 years of running .

And I guess its about time I gave something back, I have decided to choose my local mountain rescue at Woodhead because that's where I spend most of my time prancing around the BOGS.

ABOUT ME.....

So Damien's doing another marathon, (a very hilly one) who cares, but in the build up to the Marathon, Commencing the 3rd September I am going to I will quit GREGGS :( and every form of fast food and take away until the 27th October.

Any cheating I will add a extra £10 to the fundraising pot, my dear wife friends and family I'm sure well keep an eye on me.

2 months of this lifestyle I should be smashing Gareth Cooke easily for the first 1500 metres of the race.

As I will weigh as much as MO FARAH and probably look like him too.
