Well where to start?… 

The beginning I guess, 😀

So around seven years ago a doctor told myself and Amy  that our son had agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC), and like a lot of people we had never heard of it, we were then informed that it was the white matter between the left hand side and the right hand side of the brain, this connects the two hemispheres and signals are shared from one side to the other. This is such a rare condition that it only affects around one in a million people. 

We were told that without it Sebastian may never walk he may not talk and find lots of every day skills very difficult, and I’m sure as you can imagine this was not easy to digest.

Well seven years on Sebastian defines all odds, he is an amazing human that puts every single bit of effort into everything that he does. 

Lots of people don’t know about Sebastians condition as it’s something that I find difficult talking about, I see the struggles that he deals with day to day, the tests he’s gos through, assessments he has carried out on him, and he just rocks it, he is my hero 🦸‍♂️ 

This year, 2022 I want to raise awareness of ACC, with the help of Sebastians godmother Diane we are going to be raising money for the charity Corpal, this is the charity for ACC in the UK.

I want to raise awareness of ACC so others can have a good understanding of it, and to help this wonderful charity grow so they can help other families that deal with acc in their lives. 

We are going to be taking on multiple running events starting with Bournemouth Bay run 10k on April the 3rd and I appreciate any donations to this wonderful charity to help with awareness of this condition.
