Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

I'm doing the Tour de Norfolk 100 mile bike ride on 17th September. I'm not doing it just for myself- so I can say I have achieved something, but I am doing it for a charity which means a lot to a family that I care about and love a lot. I'm hoping to raise as much as I possibly can. The charity I'm doing it for is Motor Neurone Disease (MND), MND is a muscle wasting disease that eventually makes you incompetent in moving, walking, talking and eventually breathing. It is the most heart-wrenching disease to watch take its toll on someone. Most of you may know the famous Stephen Hawking to have this disease, but what many of you may know is that the majority of people diagnosed with this disease have 1-5 years to live. There is currently no cure for this disease so I am asking as many people who will be kind enough to donate to please help me to give this charity every hope in finding a cure.
