Sobell House plays an important role in our local community and we support them through membership of the "Sobell Business Club". On joining the Club Darke & Taylor and its staff committed to raising £10,000 over four years to help Sobell House operate its vital hospice and meet objectives for future development.

In 2018, 2 years after joining this fundraising initiative, the efforts of our staff with support from customers, suppliers, friends and family have resulted in us raising over well over £10,000 and as we continue to raise funds the total has now exceed £20,000!

To date activities have involved a Family Race Night, 12 Hour Team Cyclothon, Mud/Obstacle Race, Oxford Half Marathon, London Marathon, Oxford Half Marathon, Pie and a Pint night, a Head Shave, Cricket Match, Dress Down Days, Sporting Event Sweepstakes, Golf Days, Ironman Races and one employee who sacrificed his wages for installing the power supplies for the Sobell House Christmas Fayre.
