Story
In September 2016 our daughter Ariel was diagnosed with Nephronophthisis - a chronic genetic kidney disease. It means that her kidneys are deteriorating gradually and that she will need a transplant in the not too distant future. Our son Noah (pictured) was about to head off to university in September 2019 when he collapsed with total renal failure and has since been on dialysis while waiting for a transplant.
The kidney teams of the Great North Children's Hospital and Freeman Hospital Newcastle have been fantastic and we are supporting the works they do for Ariel and Noah and others like them.
