RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

I am a little bit crazy but an all round good time guy and snazzy dresser.

This is my biggest ever running challenge. 200 miles in one bite. With 60 hours to finish - this is going to be a tough few days on the hills...

I love what I do as a volunteer for the RNLI. To save lives at sea in the UK and Ireland the RNLI needs public donations.

They receive no government funding and through dedicated volunteer crews like mine at St Bees, operate 24 hours a day 365 days a year to rescue those in peril around our coast.
