Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

After the success of our all male testosterone fuelled team of adventurers the 'Fab 4' team last year, I am back to try again this time with the much more sedate and refined 'Fab 2' comprising of myself and my new lady, the lovely Deb's.

I am proud to say that last years 'Fab 4' best car award (the Tin Westwood Trophy) will soon be on display in the brand new Teenage Cancer Trust unit at Alder Hey and we hope to create another memorable car this year.

Debs is a registered Nurse working in an Emergency Department Review Unit, nursing and caring for patients requiring a short hospital stay. She confesses to being a terrible driver with no sense of direction which are the perfect qualifications for driving in India and the Dumball.

So I've been there, seen it, got the shirt, No, really, I do have 'the t shirt' and it is so good that we both want another this year, and if that involves travelling to India and driving across a desert in an very old Indian Jeep dressed as minions then so be it.

its quite a challenge. Indian roads are scary enough but this one involves camels as well. if last year is anything to go on there will be very long days of ridiculously fast scary driving, even longer breakdowns, lots of being lost and very little sleep. We have of course paid for the privilege of all this suffering and all we ask of you is that you donate a little to the cause which is the marvellous Teenage Cancer Trust.

Our team target is £2000 (£1000 each) all of which goes straight to TCT with 20% tax bonus if you donate via Just Giving. To those who supported me last year many thanks but can I be so cheeky as to ask again please? Maybe this time smaller individual sums than some of last years very generous donations, but every little helps and lots of small donations will get us there. We make no apologies because as long as Teenagers keep getting diagnosed with cancer we need to keep asking and I hope you keep listening.
