If you'd asked me a year ago if I'd be running a marathon, the answer would have been an emphatic 'no'. However, since joining Harpenden Round table and helping organise the annual carnival, Santa's sleigh collection and various other charitable activities, I have seen the difference our help can make by raising money for this amazing charity (for more details see below). 

So, as my impending year as Chairman for Harpenden Round Table kicks off this coming April, I decided it was time to face my fears and step out of my comfort zone. Please help me in raising as much money for this incredible charity as possible as I train for an event I swore I would never do.

And if the thought of putting a smile on children with life-threatening illnesses wasn't enough of an incentive to reach for your credit card, I have also sworn an oath of sobriety from January 1st until my feet cross the finish line.

Now surely that's worth a donation!
