This year I wanted to challenge myself to achieve something
big! I currently live on the Isle of Wight and my two sons live in Bath. I also love to run so, what better way to combine my passion for running and visiting
family. 

I also attend one of Independent Arts community groups
called SingAbout in Ventnor. The sessions are led by Creative Practitioner Lizzie Flynn who is so vibrant and inspiring and I love attending. Recently Independent Arts asked if anyone would be interested in fundraising for them. Independent Arts is such a small charity on the Isle of Wight but have always enabled their community groups to remain free for everyone to attend. I thought what a perfect way to help them raise money and continue the valuable work they do.

I will be completing this mammoth undertaking in eight stages. I have already completed stage one from St Lawrence to Yarmouth via the
coastal path and Freshwater Way, a distance of 17 miles a couple of times just to make sure it was a possibility as a project.

Stage two start date is Wed 3rd May Lymington to Bolderwood (New Forest). Approx. 15 miles.

Stage three start date is Sun 7th May Bolderwood to Odstock (Salisbury). Approx. 17 miles.

Stage four start date is Tues 9th May Odstock to Chilmark approx. 17miles.

Stage five start date is Wed 10th May Chilmark to Westbury. Approx. 12 miles.

Stage six start date is Thurs 11th May Westbury to Trowbridge. Approx. 12 miles.

Stage seven start date is Fri 12th May Trowbridge to Bradford upon Avon. Approx. 10 miles.

Finally stage eight start date is Sat 13th May Bradford
upon Avon to Bath approx. 17 miles.
