Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Day One's JustGiving page.

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals Charitable Foundation are pleased to support the launch of this new fundraising initiative "Day One" which will support trauma patients from across Yorkshire and beyond at the Leeds General Infirmary.

Day One has been set up to help victims of major trauma rebuild their lives, providing support for their family and friends, and giving them hope in challenging times.

Day One is a not for profit charity who have set out to make a positive impact on trauma care in England.  Our aim is to create world-class services for people affected by major trauma through supporting patients and their families during their hospital stay.  Supporting staff working through training and education, funding the acquisition of state-of-the-art medical equipment and initiating research and development.

Your support, no matter how large or small, plays a vital part in maintaining the trauma centre's life-changing work. Donations are critical to help fund much needed care for our patients and their families, research and medical equipment.

It is with your support that we are able to make such a difference to the lives of our patients.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
