On the 24th July myself and members of Pontefract Golf Club, Squash Club & others from the Pontefract area will attempt to walk around all of the Race Courses in Yorkshire, to raise money for the Captain and Lady Captain's chosen Charities, The Pontefract Sports and Education Foundation and the Prince of Wales Hospice.

We will set off from the Golf Club at around 0600 then drive to Redcar race course for the first walk, the route will then take in Catterick, Ripon, Thirsk, Beverley, Wetherby, York and Doncaster before arriving back at Pontefract at around 1800 for the final walk.

In total we will cover around 17 miles on foot and 250 miles in the coach.
