Mary’s Meals is a global movement that sets up school feeding programmes in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education. The charity now feeds more than 2.6 million children every school day and it costs just £19.15/€22.00 to feed a child for a year.

Story

Deacon Jim and his eldest daughter, Catherine, are set to climb the Holy Mountain, Croagh Patrick Ireland in August 2018. Please sponsor them so they can raise money to help educate and feed children through the charity Mary’s meals.

Mary’s Meals is named after Mary, the mother of Jesus, who brought up her own child in poverty. They consist of, respect and reach out to people of all faiths and of none.

Their vision is that every child receives one daily meal in their place of education.

Working together, we believe that this can be achieved in this world of plenty.

It costs £13.90 to educate and feed one child for a whole year. Please be as generous as you can to help as many children as we can.
